CM Loves : Grenson

What's not to love about Grenson? Handmade shoes with heritage, and best of all, local to CM. #shoplocal has never looked so good.

This dapper gent is William Green, founder of Grenson. He began making shoes in 1866 in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Grenson now finds itself a hit with celebrities like Jenna Coleman, Hailey Baldwin, and Holly Willoughby, who wore these 'Nanette' leather hiking boots in the Australian jungle.

'Evie', a women's white leather derby shoe below, is made completely from 'skin to box' in the Grenson factory.

The pair below have hidden stitches in the leather soles and shoe details are handwritten on the lining. Pure craftsmanship.

It takes up to eight weeks to make a pair of Grenson shoes. And they've been using the same technique since they started. And this is why CM loves Grenson.
